On September 24, the Blackglama brand was showcased in an exhibition celebrating the Year of Russian Cinema at the historical GUM luxury department store in Moscow. The project, entitled “Life is like a movie,” showcased a series of photos, which paid tribute to some of Russia’s top actors and directors. Russian luxury retail conglomerate, Bosco, sponsored the project, inviting Blackglama to participate along side their prestigious list of brands like Moschino, Alberta Ferretti, Max Mara, Etro, and Armani.
Elena Neverovskaya, owner of the GUM’s Blackglama retail shop, had the opportunity to dress famous Russian actress, director, and screenwriter, Renata Litvinova, for her cameo. The resulting photo, which featured a barefoot, mink-clad Litvinova posing in front of the Kremlin, was considered one of the most popular in the series.
